When the weather outside is frightful, stay inside and make some pasta. Or at least, that’s what I would do. The other stormy night, while at home with some friends and deciding what to dine upon, a package of Pasta Valente made its way to our countertops. It was a new, local brand of dried pasta and it was as exciting to me as the unusual bounty of wet whiteness that had fallen that weekend. Pasta Valente is based out of Charlottesville, Virginia and creates both the dried pastas and possible, accompanying sauces. Of the former, you can choose from fettuccine, linguine, or angel hair in a variety of all natural flavors. Just purchase a pack, boil some water, add the goods for about two minutes, and you’re good to go. Dinner at home has never been so delightful.
